Live local music will fill Old Town during Balloon Fiesta® week, October 3 through 11, 2026, when more than a dozen local bands and dance groups share their talents with visitors and residents alike.

The nine-day series features local musicians and cultural performers at the Old Town Gazebo from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The lineup includes New Mexican music, mariachi, traditional Latin music, cumbia, flamenco, rockabilly, country, and more. The performances offer visitors another way to experience Albuquerque after the morning balloon launch while exploring Old Town’s shops, galleries, restaurants, and area museums.

“Albuquerque has a lot to share beyond the balloons,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “This series gives visitors an opportunity to experience the music and culture that make New Mexico special.”

Performances begin Saturday, October 3, with Divino, Mariachi Albuquerque, and Baila! Baila!. The schedule continues throughout the week with performances by Henry Cortez Y Los Heartaches, Chris Dracup Funk of the West, Black Smoke Blues Band, Vicente y La Nueva Faze, Spanish Broom, Drive-In Delinquents, La Ansiedad Norteña, The Danny Duran Band, and others.

All performances are free and open to the public. For the complete schedule, visit the Balloon Fiesta Week in Old Town website.
