Marine Room, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant with stunning ocean views, exquisite cocktails, and top culinary talent opened its doors on May 9, 2023, ahead of the launch of the EA Group’s planned The Bight Hotel, which will become one of the largest lifestyle hospitality destinations on the Turks and Caicos Islands. Located on a unique parcel beside The Bight Hotel, Marine Room is a lively and soulful restaurant that celebrates life, island culture and the bounty of the sea.

Guests can expect unparalleled elevated views of the ocean, a chic decor and soundtrack, and sunset and beach vistas, making it a staple for visitors to the island.

The Bight Hotel, set amongst the backdrop of the world-famous Grace Bay Beach, spans eight acres, and includes 66 boutique villas, 90 guestrooms, unique food and beverage concepts, a distillery and rum bar, a 140-seat private event space, a breathtaking infinity-edge pool, and top-of-the-line wellness facilities including a spa, yoga studio, and training center.

The Bight Hotel will phase in opening over the next two years, with the elevated beach villas debuted first in summer of 2023.

“Turks and Caicos has been our home for over 20 years, and this project is our way of sharing with the world what makes our islands so special,” EA Developer Ryan Jones said. “Travelers will experience far more than a hotel or a restaurant when visiting, they will experience the true Turks and Caicos lifestyle – from its local flavors and talent to how we like to relax and the ways we embrace the natural elements of the island. The Marine Room is the perfect ‘first taste’ of all that is to come, combining a culinary journey with music, incredible views, and more to create a memorable evening.”

The drinks menu includes a diverse selection of libations, including a dedicated section of infused vodka martinis that use spirits from EA Group’s local distillery.

Designed by EA Group and local experts SWA Architects, Marine Room’s architecture, design, music, lighting, and ambiance reflect the energy of the island. The restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows that offer breathtaking views of the ocean, complemented by an opposing wall of mirrors to ensure every guest has an equally stunning view.
