Paying homage to TINCUP’s home roots in Colorado and the adventures that take place above 14,000 feet, TINCUP is releasing the second annual limited-edition of its 14-year aged whiskey – TINCUP Fourteener Bourbon Whiskey – which highlights Quandary Peak on the bottle.
Why did TINCUP pick Quandary Peak for Fourteener Year Two?

TINCUP Fourteener Year One featured Longs Peak, which is a part of the Front Range mountain range. TINCUP Fourteener is a great collector’s item for 14er bucket listers and hiking enthusiasts.
TINCUP featured Quandary Peak for the Fourteener Year Two label as the peak is consistently one of the most popular 14er hikes in the state of Colorado due to its accessibility from Denver and the approachable trailhead route that starts at 10,850 feet. This accessibility is in line with TINCUP’s effort to encourage more people to explore the outdoors.
According to Colorado Fourteener Initiative (CFI), in 2022, the estimated hiking use days on Colorado 14ers was 279,000. 22,000 of those days were on Quandary Peak, making it the second most hiked fourteener in the state.
Why did TINCUP choose CFI as a partner?
In addition, given the popularity of Quandary Peak, TINCUP partnered with the Colorado Fourteener Initiative to carry out a combined responsibility to protect and preserve some of Colorado’s most treasured resources. As a part of this Fourteener Series, TINCUP is donating $14,000 back to the Colorado Fourteener Initiative (CFI). This donation is a part of CFI’s Adopt a Peak Program to preserve and restore trails.
What is special about TINCUP Fourteener?
Fourteener is a rich and smooth bourbon aged in new white American Oak barrels for 14 years, then cut to proof with Eldorado Springs water, judged to be the best drinking water in America.
