Who doesn’t remember playing with Barbies? I certainly do.
I loved dressing Barbie and Ken, getting them ready for a big date or day of adventure at the beach or even a picnic or poolside plunge. The dress, the hair, the accessories, the sunglasses and the matching purse. It all mattered.
The only thing that would freak me out was when Barbie lost one of her shoes, culminating in an absolute disaster as then the whole outfit was ruined. After all, Barbie is all about making a fashion statement.
Well, Barbie is back, and in a big way!
After all, what’s a girl to do when she’s expelled from ‘Barbieland’ for not being perfect enough?
She sets off on an adventure in the real world and…partys!
In celebration of Director Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” movie launch scheduled for July 21, 2023, The Curtis in the heart of downtown Denver is hosting the perfect party package for a girls’ glam weekend getaway. While in Denver, you can catch the new pop culture flick starring Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken on the big screen at Regal UA Denver Pavilions. Even better, the theater is within walking distance of the hotel.
The “Come on Barbie, let’s go party!” Barbie getaway package is of course, a Barbie-inspired adventure. Guests booking this glammy package will receive a guaranteed hyper room experience and a complimentary Pink Corvette Martini at The Corner Office, the Curtis’ onsite restaurant and martini bar.
A Barbie-inspired Beauty Bar with makeup brushes, cream face mask variety pack and eyelash curler will bring out your “inner Barbie” and help you find your own beauty in everything you do. And lastly, The Curtis will provide a Curated Barbie-inspired Power Playlist so you can “rock your own story.”
Perhaps even with your very own Ken?

This unique Barbie getaway package experience is available for a limited time and advanced booking is required, so don’t miss out.
Now get ready for your unforgettable weekend of Barbie glam.
Oh, and by the way, just like the package, my Barbie too had a pink corvette (the car, that is).
