    Lisa Hughes is a new travel writer and photographer with a passion for inspiring others to see the world through fresh, meaningful experiences.

    Before diving into travel storytelling, she lived briefly in Europe, an adventure that sparked her curiosity for cultures and landscapes beyond the everyday. Back in Canada, she built a career in change management and corporate training within the Ontario Public Service. That experience—combined with Lisa’s background in education and love for discovering the unique—naturally led her to writing and photography focused on travel.

    Lisa holds an MEd from York University in Toronto, a BA from Western University in London, Ontario, and earned her teaching degree in Edinburgh, Scotland.
